| Georg Friedrich Handel was a master of ballet, and we are excited to bring you four suites from this genre of music. We have adapted these movements so they may be performed by a melodic instrument, like descant recorder, flute, violin or oboe, along with piano accompaniment. This music was very popular for dancing and chamber settings. The melody part and the accompaniment part are both very intricate. The right hand in the accompaniment part carries some of the inner voicings and therefore the music is very demanding and challenging.
